Rest and Recovery, part 1
CrossFit’s style brings something different and [sometimes] exciting each day. It becomes hard to say “no” because we have FOMO – almost all workouts look fun! CrossFitters are crazy like that. This higher level of intensity requires us to be even more diligent than most in taking rest days in order to recover and allow our muscles to repair themselves.
What’s Your Image Of CrossFit?
If you ask different CrossFitters what is CF you’ll likely get several different answers. It goes beyond the dictionary definition of constantly varied functional movements performed at [relative] high intensity. It’s about the Workouts. It’s about the Lifestyle. It’s about the Community. All of this combined is what makes CF so special and the reason its exploded in popularity over the last 7 or so years.
