The job of our Head Coach is to provide the best experience to our members every single day by managing a supporting team of coaches. RESPONSIBILITIES
Coaching Leadership & Member Engagement
Lead and instruct group classes in a way that reflects ECF’s mission and values, ensuring safety and effectiveness for all fitness levels through high quality seeing and correcting, teaching, demonstrating, group management, and presence and attitude.
Lead and/or assist in coaching group CrossFit classes or other programs at ECF weekly.
Take on personal training clients and 1-on-1 sessions with members or potential members
Maintain regular contact with members and keep an up-to-date understanding of their goals, circumstances, and needs to better serve them.
Own an in-depth understanding and ability to effectively articulate ECF program offerings and sales, onboarding, retention, and cancellation processes.
Assist as needed with facility improvements, cleanliness, maintenance, and the implementation of other site initiatives.
Maintain timely communication with management and colleagues via company tools and channels.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the facility by performing necessary duties.
Attend and contribute to scheduled coach/employee meetings.

Continually seek out personal and professional growth through formal and informal opportunities, including certifications, books, feedback, courses, etc.

Education & Experience
Minimum L1 Certification with 1-2+ years coaching experience
In depth knowledge of functional fitness, health, and nutrition – the tip of spear
In depth knowledge and skill in leading group classes – we want the best in the world
High level interpersonal, time management and organizational skills – professional mindset
Strong leadership skills and inspires action in those around them – lead by example always
Creative thinking, dispute resolution and problem-solving skills all finely honed – cool under pressure
Compensation and Benefits:
ECF provides excellent compensation packages for its employees. The compensation offered is alignment with hours worked and based on several factors including years of experience, positive performance evaluation and overall expertise.
